TRIBUTO A BREONNA TAYLOR

Dear amigos, as some of you might know I live in Louisville, KY. These last days have been tough for this community which of course affects everyone, including youngsters like my students.
Today and with much respect I share with you a poem I wrote as a tribute to this young lady who left us too soon. My intention writing this poem, besides expressing my current feelings is to allow my students to understand the current situation from a perspective that is different from what they see in social media or in the news.
What is currently happening in the US is not good. Injustice is not good and we must help our studnets understand that freedom can´t come without justice for all. Let´s embrace Breonna´s family, friends and community. Let´s pray for justice and peace.
