Suspense and mystery readings for Spanish Class

There are months like October that can motivate our students to read more than others. The celebration of Halloween and the proximity to the Day of the Dead, is a perfect time to read stories with a lot of suspense and mystery.
Sonrisas Ocultas is a book with 12 stories of suspense and mystery. Each story takes place in a school and immediately after students and teachers returned to school after being at home for a long time due to Covid 19.
Sonrisas Ocultas is the perfect book for Spanish classes during the months of October and November as each story takes place within a context well known to the students. I recommend Sonrisas Ocultas for levels 3 and up. This book is also available in French and English.
