THE MYTH OF PARTICIPATION IN THE WORLD LANGUAGE CLASS

Dear World Language colleagues and friends.  This one makes my blog post number 201 since I started sharing activities, book reviews, webinars and ideas in October 2019.

The topic of participation in the World Language class is always a very interesting one.  Should we grade participation? Is participation synonym of “saying something” during class? Should we count good attitude and task completion as good participation? So many questions that I reflect on in this webinar.

HERE you can find the presentation´s PDF file. Please mention my name and give me credit if you decide to share with other educators.

I hope you find this webinar interesting and helpful.  As always questions and kind comments are welcomed.  I´d love to prepare a workshop for your World Language department.  Please contact me to diego@srojeda.com for more details.
