I been teaching for a while and I used this song in my classroom for the first time more than 15 years ago. I remember that my students at that time loved it so much that they chose it as their eight grade graduation song. It was a very interesting picture seeing a bunch of Spanish as a second language students singing this song in front of non-Spanish speakers in the middle of a small rural Wisconsin community.

Music takes us to many places and this song in particular help our students focus on the message even beyond the language. Needless to say that just because of that Amigos is a perfect song to bring to the CI Spanish classroom.
Amigos is a song composed and interpreted by the Argentinian group, Los Enanitos Verdes. They have many great songs that I would like to invite you to listen.
