CI STYLE MINI “POP UP” GRAMMAR LESSON: EL PRESENTE PERFECTO

While many CI researchers do not recommend “teaching” grammar at the lower levels of second language instruction, at the same time they suggest that short, mini “pop up” grammar lessons can be helpful for intermediate and advanced students as it solidifies in a concious way everything they have absorbed through Comprehensible Input in the previous classes.

I´m sharing today an example of how I introduce the Present Perfect in Spanish, to a group of students who have never heard or studied it. Hope it´s helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions or any kind comments.

Here is the lesson´s video:

  1. Hola Diego.
Gracias por publicar tu video. Quería preguntarte por las actividades que hiciste después de la introducción. Vi en tu agenda: Vocabulario de tecnología y Presente perfecto. ¿Tú sigues un libro de texto, usas lecturas de textos auténticos o creas/usas historias?
    Gracias.

    1. Hola. Empezamos a indagar acerca del uso de la tecnología en sus propias vidas . No hay libro de textos, cada estudiante puede hacer si propio vocabulario de acuerdo a sus propios intereses. .
