LA LEYENDA DEL ESPANTAPÁJAROS

Greetings amigos y colegas. Today I wanted to share with you a comprehensible story that I presented in class to my students. I didn´t know if they would like the format of the presentation but the feedback has been very positive. They shared that not only they were able to understand the story but that they were engaged and interested.

There is areason why I do not include all the pictures in the presentation. It is very important to have the text in front of the students while they are engaged. This resembles a bit what good readers feel and visualize when they are reading something interesting to them. Bringing the pictures once at at time from Google images also makes a different impression. The you go from narration, to text, to images, to narration, to text, and so on. Thsi makes any story really comprenhensible.

Hope you enjoy this entry. Feel free to share my presentation with your students or to try yourself. As always I´m open to questions and/or kind comments.

Here is the video of me narrating the story:

  1. Thank you for all the resources. My students are enjoying the poems. Some of them asked me the other day why the boy is usually heartbroken. LOL.
