PRACTICE QUESTIONS FOR THE AP SPANISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM

The idea to create a bank of questions for each one of the AP Spanish language and culture curriculum, came from the need that teachers (ncluding me) have to prepare our current students for the new AP Spanish language and culture COVID-19 edition exam.

According to what we have been informed so far (April 27th) what used to be the Simulated Conversation part is changing to an oral exchange, similar to an interview. I have created several interviews with key questions that will assess our student´s knowledge of each AP topic. Even if CB ends up doing something different for this section, I believe that these questions will be great review and will become handy in future classes.

I have included an audio where I read each question, please be aware that given the time constraint we are all under during these days of remote instruction, I did not wait for 20 seconds to go by between questions. You will need to instruct your students to keep track of their own time.

These are tough times and I feel compelled and inspired to share my experience and very limited knowledge with you, my dear colleagues. We are all on the same boat and I hope these materials are useful to you and your students. Good luck on the AP Spanish language and culture exam.

  3. This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. One question though, is anyone else having difficulties with playing audio for units 2-4? Both of my computers will play unit 1’s but none of the others…. 😦
